On Monday, February 22, the Sheboygan Area School District is hosting Parent University, an Education Forum designed to inform parents and adults in general of the pivotal role they play in strengthening their child’s healthy decision making. This event is free and open to the public.
Parry Aftab will be the keynote speaker. Aftab is a security, privacy and cyberspace lawyer, as well as an author and child advocate. Recently more than 90% of her time is donated to Internet issues involving children and adults, ranging from protecting children from sex crimes online to helping adults avoid identity theft and fraud online. Her main focus is teaching good cybercitizenship, especially to young people. This includes cyberbullying and responsible use of technology.

The Pick ‘n Save located at 1317 North 25 Street in the City of Sheboygan is closing on Saturday, February 27, 2010. In order to provide you with more variety of the things you need most, Pick ‘n Save will be opening a new store this summer.
In the meantime, visit their other convenient Pick ‘n Save location at 2213 Calument Drive (Open from 6 AM to 11 PM).
Kohler CU Scholarships

The Kohler Credit Union is excited to again offer scholarship opportunities to graduating high school seniors. The $1,000 award is renewable for up to three additional years (a total scholarship of $4,000 is available if the student maintains a cumulilative grade point of 3.0).
To qualify, students o parents must have been Kohler Credit Union members prior to September 1, 2009, and students must have definite plans to attend a 4-year college or university in the State of Wisconsin.
